Privacy Policy

Volodymyr Pavlenko develops and operates Bedline. This policy explains how information is handled in the app, on this website, and when you ask for support. Contact volo.pavlenko@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information kept on your device

Bedline stores your schedule, selected blocking options, settings, preferences, and nightly records locally using SwiftData and device preferences. This includes an optional name you provide, routine goals, unlock responses, and locally cached access information.

The app and its Screen Time monitor extension use a shared app-group container for the blocking plan and queued night events. A limited local diagnostic log helps troubleshoot blocking behavior; it does not contain selected app names or selection tokens. Bedline does not upload this routine data to a developer-operated server.

Screen Time

With your authorization, Apple's Screen Time frameworks let Bedline block the apps, categories, and websites you select. The selection is represented by Apple's opaque tokens and stored locally for the app and its extension to apply your plan. Bedline does not inspect what you do inside selected apps or collect their messages, content, or browsing activity.

Optional Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. Bedline requests permission to read sleep analysis and to write sleep analysis samples. With read access, it reads recent recorded sleep intervals to show sleep duration and patterns alongside your Bedline nights.

With write access and the Health connection enabled, Bedline can save qualifying recent nights as In Bed samples from the night's start to wake-up. These describe time spent in your Bedline routine, not a measurement that you were asleep. Bedline handles this Health information locally; it is not sent to RevenueCat or used for advertising.

You can disconnect Health in Bedline and revoke read or write permissions in Apple's Health permission controls. Disconnecting or revoking permission does not delete samples already saved in Apple Health. Review and delete those records separately in the Health app if you wish. Apple's own storage and synchronization of Health data are governed by your Apple settings and policies.

Local reminders

If you allow notifications, Bedline schedules reminders and routine notices locally through iOS. You can change the reminders in Bedline and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Bedline does not use an app-owned remote push server to deliver these reminders.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes purchases and billing. Bedline does not receive your payment-card details. Bedline uses RevenueCat to load purchase offerings, validate and restore purchases, and determine Premium access.

The app configures RevenueCat without a custom user account identifier. RevenueCat creates a random anonymous app-user identifier, cached on the device, and processes purchase history and entitlement information for subscription functionality and purchase-related analytics. An anonymous identifier does not mean that no data is transmitted. Reinstalling may create a new identifier without erasing earlier provider purchase records.

Advertising and analytics

Bedline currently has no advertising or separate general-purpose app analytics SDK. RevenueCat's purchase-related processing described above still takes place. Health information and your Screen Time selections are not used for advertising.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Website requests pass through Cloudflare, which processes information such as your IP address, requested URL, HTTP metadata, and traffic information to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for its handling of this information.

The site's fonts and images are self-hosted. This website's own pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, a contact form, or nonessential cookies. Hosting and security request processing is separate from the app's local storage. Following an external link, such as the App Store or a provider document, takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Email support

If you email the developer, you provide your email address and whatever information you include, such as your message, screenshots, or diagnostics. That information is handled through email services to respond to your request. Include only information you want to share; you do not need to send Health records or content from blocked apps for routine support.

Your controls and deletion

You can change your schedule, selections, and preferences in Bedline and manage Screen Time, Health, and notification permissions through Apple's controls. To remove the app's stored data from your device, delete the app rather than offloading it.

Deleting Bedline does not cancel Apple subscriptions or remove records stored independently in Apple Health, Apple's purchase systems, or RevenueCat. Manage subscriptions through Apple Account settings and Health records in the Health app. Provider records may be retained under their own policies and applicable obligations.

Children's privacy

Bedline does not ask for a date of birth. The data practices and optional permission controls described here apply to all users. If you believe a child has shared personal information with the developer through support, contact the email above so it can be reviewed and addressed.

Policy changes

This policy may change as Bedline's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will appear here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website as appropriate.
